The Malvern Hills District Council has a statutory obligation to seek the Parish Council’s views on all planning applications in the parish, although it is not bound to act on the Parish Council’s responses.
Except for large, or possibly contentious, planning applications - which are considered by the full Parish Council - applications are considered by a Planning Committee, which reports its recommendations at the next Parish Council meeting.
These Planning Committee meetings are public, and members of the public may speak. The members of the committee are:
Alan Lewis (Chairman), Graham Jones, Mike Smith, Bruce Tasker, Peter Hawkins, Roger Husband Paul Miller together with the Parish Council Chairman & Vice Chairman (ex officio)
The meetings are held in the Memorial Hall at
7.30 p.m.
The agenda will be posted on the Leigh Sinton Parish Council notice board (by the Post Office) three days in advance.
Notice of Special Meetings will also be posted on this board.
